Privacy policy and processing of personal data

Definitions

The controller is the party that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. The processor is the party that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable natural person — for example a name, contact details, an identification code or location data. Processing is any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use or deletion.

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

Which data do we collect and for what purpose?

If you wish to obtain more information about our products via the website, or request a quote, we collect and process your email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry. If you apply for a job with us, we also process your CV and the data it contains.

We process this data in order to respond to your enquiry and to prepare a contract entered into with your participation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract).

Website browsing statistics

When you visit the website, non-personalised technical data is collected about the visitor: IP address, browser version and the time of the visit.

We use Google Analytics to collect statistics. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you have given consent. This data is not connected to your identity and is used only to analyse use of the website.

Cookies

We use session, persistent and third-party cookies so that the website works, to remember your preferences and to collect visit statistics.

Allowing cookies is not strictly necessary for the website's main functions. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or manage and disable cookies in your browser settings.

How long do we store data?

Non-personalised technical data collected on the website is stored without a term.

We store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to respond to your enquiry, to provide the service and for our communication.

Sharing of personal data

We share your data only with processors located in the European Economic Area who provide us with, for example, analytics and support services, and where necessary with companies of the Combiwood Group.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data collected about you, to request its correction or deletion, to restrict its processing and to object to processing.

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).

Withdrawal of consent

If you wish to have your personal data deleted or to withdraw consent you have given, contact us via the contact form or using the contact details above. We will remove the data related to your enquiry from our systems.
